The excitement was running high last night while we waited for the final voting results from our Spring 2015 CloudHealth hackathon. The presentations were over, the beer had run out, and everyone was enjoying some well deserved post-hackathon socializing.
We followed the same format as our last hackathon: at 5 PM Wednesday we stopped all engineering activities to allow the team to focus on a project of their choosing for the next 24 hours. Per Dan’s guidelines, projects must either advance the goals of our product, company, or customers, or “change mankind.” At 5 PM Thursday the full company gathered for beer, food, and to watch individual engineers / teams of engineers present their results.
